So it's official I am no longer pregnant. MarleyAnn Chournos was born on Thursday June 11, 2009 at 12:22 p.m. at Davis Hospital via C- Section weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces measuring 20 1/2 inches long. She is so cute, she has brown hair and bright blue eyes ( for now). She never cries except when she is getting hungry and she sleeps really good. Kaydence absolutely loves her she always wants to hold her and loves to give her kisses and hugs. She can kind of say her name but it's gonna take her some time before it's understandable. We have been home since Sunday afternoon and I am not as exhausted as I thought I would be with having a 2 year old running around and a newborn but I have had alot of help so far, family are taking turns by keeping kaydence for a couple of hours a day so that she can get out of the house and get some personal attention and I can rest and since Marley is a very good baby it makes it easier to do that so that I can heal. Jared has been a big help and lucky for him Marley only gets up like twice a night to eat and then goes back to sleep so he is still getting a good nights rest. The only problem we are really having is Kaydence and the binky. She has been doing really good since we took hers away but now Marley uses a binky and for the most part she leaves it alone or tries to give it to Marley but every once in a while she will put it in her mouth and run. I was hoping this wouldn't happen since Marley doesn't even like the type of binky Kaydence does but I guess we will just have to see how it plays out I hope only a couple more days and she won't want it anymore so cross your fingers. I will post pictures next time once I put them on the computer.

So everything in our lives is about to change. Next thursday June 11 at 12:00 p.m. we will be adding Marley Anne Chournos to our family via C-Section. I really hope that Kaydence takes everything ok once we get home with the new baby. She does really good with my 5 month ol half sister Sarai but she doesn't live in our home so I am sure it is going to be quite the experience. Meanwhile we are in the middle of week 2 with no binky. I feel bad taking it away with everything about to change especially since I don't care that she has one but she bites them and makes a hole then freaks out because it's 'broken' and I don't feel like buying new ones every other day so it's bye-bye binky. She is actually doing really well the first couple of days she would just ask for it then whine a little bit when I told her they were all gone and then she would move on with her day, now we are to the point where she doesn't ask for them and if she sees one of Sarai's she just gives it to her so I really hope that things don't go backwards when Marley is here. For the past couple of weeks we have been going swimming at the Clearfield Aquatic Center and Kaydence absolutely loves it. Last summer I put her in swim lessons and I wasn't really sure if she got it but the more we go this year the more she seems to remember. She got away from me and ran and jumped in the 3'6" part without a life jacket or floaties and she kept herself up and rolled on her back to stay afloat till I got there which was only like 2 seconds but I was still impressed. When she has her life jacket on she watches the other kids and tries to swim it's so cute. Life is so much more exciting when she is around.
